Rosa Parks Project on Rosa parks Rosa park was a civil rights who changed the civil world and refused to give up her seat for a white passenger who just got onto the bus. Rosa Parks was born Rosa Louise McCartney on February 4, 1913, in Tuskegee, Alabama. After her parents, James and Leona McCartney, separated when Rosa was two On December 1, 1955, after a long day's work at a Montgomery department store, where she worked as a seamstress, Rosa Parks boarded the Cleveland Avenue bus for home. She took a seat in the first of several rows designated for "coloured" passengers. As the bus Rosa was riding continued on its route, it began to fill with white passengers. Eventually, the bus was full and the driver noticed that several white passengers were standing in the aisle. The driver of Rosa’s bus stopped the bus and moved the sign separating the two sections back one row, asking four black passengers to give up their seats.

Chief Joseph (1840-1904) was a leader of the Wallowa band of the Nez Perce Tribe, who became famous in 1877 for leading his people on an epic flight across the Rocky Mountains. He was born in 1840 and he was called Joseph by Reverend Henry H. Spalding who had established a mission amongst the Nez Perce in 1836.Also chief Joseph died from heart failure 1904. Why is Chief Joseph important to American history? In order to save his people he began a retreat. He hoped to make it to Canada where he would meet up with the Sioux tribe of Sitting Bull. The retreat of Chief Joseph is called the Nez Perce War. It is often considered one of the most masterful retreats in military history.

He was the most important voice of the worlds civil rights movement, which worked for equal rights for everyone under pressure . ... King was also a Baptist minister. He was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee, when he was just 39 years old.he was well known for setting things even as he prepared a speech ‘’I have a dream”and made the world change and spoke on behalf of the black men getting disadvantages to nearly everything and limited access to the so called white people
